I'm very happy that my mask is featured in Adam Vollick's cover art for the newest album from the Great Lake Swimmers, The Waves, The Wake. The album is so good! Adam is mega talented. Total delight. One more life goal check off.

Many awesome masks were made at the May mask-making workshop at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning. Teaching a short but sweet workshop on mask making couldn't have come at a better time for me - it reminded me of the total joy I get from my own work and from teaching my craft and watching other people's ideas translate to actual, wearable objects. It's an incredible feeling to turn one's ideas into tangible things.

I'm looking forward to teaching a weekend-long mask-making workshop at the Tett Centre in Kingston May 26-27. It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind workshop, but participants will leave with a mask and knowing the basics of mask making. Very focused and super fun.
Finished up my work on Carousel Players' Boys, Girls, and Other Mythological Creatures. Written by Mark Crawford, directed by Jessica Carmichael, it is a truly wonderful production. Every kid should see it. Heck, every person should see it. A few shots of my work. Unfortunately, I don't have a good photo of the 14' tail.
Currently working on puppets for Shotgun Wedding. Super fun. Also a mask for Ottawa-based photographer Lesia Maruschak and puppets for XPT in Atlanta in May.
